En las décadas de los 70 y 80 surgieron una serie de bandas inglesas y americanas de canciones melosas y acarameladas tales como Styx, Boston, Chicago, Reo Speedwagon,… Todas ellas fueron aniquiladas en los 90 por las radiofórmulas que las ignoraron, llegando incluso al suicidio hace unos 10 años del cantante de Boston.
Una de esas bandas, Chicago, tuvo durante dos décadas una serie de grandes éxitos como este Look Away del año 88 (creo recordar):
